Is Examo free?
Yes. Every course and every tool is free, and so is the account that unlocks them. There is nothing to pay for and no card to enter.
Which courses does Examo cover?
Edexcel International GCSE Chemistry (4CH1), Physics (4PH1) and Biology (4BI1), and Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0984), Economics (0455) and Mathematics (0580). Mathematics comes at both Core and Extended tier.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. Without one you can read any two topics of notes or flashcards and see the start of every exam question. A free account unlocks the rest: every topic, every question marked against its mark scheme, the study plan and the AI tutor.
How does the AI marking work?
Write your answer as you would in the exam. Each point on the mark scheme is checked separately, so you see which marks you earned, which you missed and why. A valid alternative method gets the credit, and a slip early on doesn't cost you the marks that follow it.
Are the questions from real past papers?
No. Examo writes its own questions in the style of the real papers, each with its own mark scheme. For the real thing, Past Papers links to past question papers and their mark schemes.
