Rounding, Estimation and Bounds

State the rounding rule.

To round to a given place value:

• Locate the digit in that place.
• Look at the single digit immediately to its right, ignoring everything beyond it.
• 5 or more rounds up; 4 or less leaves the digit unchanged.
